Ravello

The City

It is an open terrace overlooking the sea, from which you can enjoy a scenery of natural beauty that is unique in the world.

From its height, the Amalfi Coast appears in a dreamlike vision. It was a flourishing center of commercial activities with the East and Sicily (between the 11th and 12th centuries), as evidenced by the numerous buildings in Arab-Sicilian style.

The Cathedral, dating back to the 12th century, features a facade with bifores and a marble portal, closed by a bronze door, the work of Barisano da Trani (1179). The very beautiful bell tower with bifores and arches dates back to the 13th century.

The very mild climate, magnificent vegetation, and modern hotels contribute to making Ravello an ideal center for a stay with unmistakable characteristics.

Ravello has been the "City of Music" for some years now.
