The City

A small, bright gem of the Amalfi Coast: Conca dei Marini. During the summer, it is crowded with tourists from all over the world, drawn by the healthy climate and the clarity of its sea. Good hotel accommodation is available.

In the village, the Convent of S. Rosa from the 1300s and the White Tower, built in the 16th century to guard against Saracen raids, are artistic and tourist attractions.

The Grotto dello Smeraldo fascinates with its suggestive view of fanciful stalactites and stalagmites against the magical background of an incredibly emerald sea.

Agricultural activities are of great importance, with the production of lemons, new potatoes, and the characteristic "piennolo" tomatoes.
